I drive about 20k miles per year in Atlanta area traffic and have 30k miles on my 991s now. So, it would have ~50k miles of it when I would likely delivery of my GT3.
If you want to lose $50k put 50,000 mls in 2 yrs

Actually, the more miles I drive it, the less per mile it cost me to own and the more smiles I get to enjoy. So buy not driving it 50k miles, I lose 50k miles of fun. I get very little joy by looking at my car in the garage. I have never been one to save miles on my cars, so the next owner can buy a low mileage car, whether it be my Ferraris, Porsches, whatever...I put over 50k miles on my old Testarossa. Modern production cars are not investments. If you can't afford to drive your Porsche, but something else that you can afford to drive.

Honestly, it's just a car. Drive it, enjoy it.

I put 55000 miles on my 997 GT3, drove it every day to work.
I have had the 991 GT3 for a little under a month, it has 1500 miles.
Why buy a nice car and keep it in the garage?

Claudef2, congrats on the 991. I don't remember seeing a post/review from you regarding the car. How do you like the 991 compared to the 997?
