Someone refresh my memory, but wasn't the recent Sport Auto Supertest of the 991 GT3 that posted a 7:32 and 1:08.9 the same car that had to be sent back to Porsche because of engine performance issues? Or am I mixing that up with another test?

Unless tests are done on the same day by the same driver, arguing a 2sec/lap difference on the Nurburgring is crazy irrelevant.
Anyone that spent some time on the track (and did some datalogging), weather/temperature will greatly affect lap times. Condition of the tires, brakes, fuel level, driver error etc. There is nothing scientific in those tests, it's all for fun. Not worth frying brain cells over why did the GT3 was .2sec slower in that section.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

With Sport Auto, fuel levels and many factors are constant.
Re. driver errors, this is one big thing with the Supertests.
Sport Auto wants it to be a part of the result, therefore only driving 2 laps.
If the car is tricky and provokes driver errors, it shows in the result.
Sure temperature, humidity and grip levels can variate. But still I would say seldom more than 2 seconds. If there were something special it will be mentioned in the test.
Dont spoil our fun man! :-)
