I was there on NYE and they were prepping this one and another blue one that came in for delivery. This one was supposedly for a 918 buyer - allocation as a "thank you'.

Looks pretty sharp in person but I didn't care much for the clear rear lights - everything is great though.

Fwiw I would def make sure you have seen agate in full direct sunlight. As others have noted it has a brown base, which looks great to some but to me was more brown than the purple hue grey I originally thought it was. I ultimately ended up changing my order from agate to black, and mercifully my order has locked in the mean time!

There seem to be a fair amount of cars with clear tail lights? It's probably better on lighter colors than dark. IMO the contrast is a bit much.

Blacked out PDLS would look great on this color. The clear tail light no so much on Agate.

Agate grey looks like the new 997.2 GT3 meteor grey...

Agree strongly on Black PDLS & no clear taillights on Agate.

Should have mine mid January. Waiting on the Virgo Leader early this month. Agate with silver wheels, I didn't want two different colors of gray. I think the car will look cleaner with silver rims and taillights red

No kidding, I consider a color change daily. A first world problem but irritating none the less...

That is really interesting color reversal... Normally we have light cars with dark wheels.. Very curious to see how your "reverse" combo looks.
