No harm intended to you Mike by saying this... but, there is a huge variation in barrel shape of wheels, so this type of anecdotal evidence is rather meaningless. Look at how OZ was finally able to make an 18" wheel that fit over the PCCBs on the 997.1s. It just might be possible!

talk to Daniel at Finspeed. He made me an 18" wheel that will take a 390mm rotor on my .2 GT3. An oz 18 wouldnt even come close to working. The finspeed wheel has plenty of clearance. I bet he can make what you need.
