Default Rear seats in a GT3???

I realize I take great risk in asking this question as some may view it as sacrilege. I'm interested in getting a 991 GT3 as a daily driver. Problem is, I need a rear seat to accommodate my 6 year old daughter. Is there any way to put the standard 991 Carrera's rear seats into the GT3? I know some would say to just get the Turbo but I see that as too similar to a GT-R (and I already have a 700hp 2012 GT-R). I know, sounds crazy, but if this mod allows me to have the GT3 as a dd, I'll do it. Anyone have an answer?

No need. My 6yr old will ride to school in the front with a booster. Has a weight pressure switch airbag disable system. Legal and ok....

Maybe he wants his wife and daughter in the car at the same time?

I saw a 2010 GT3 at a dealer where the original owner had spent something like $10k to have proper 911 rear seats installed. It actually looked very nice. It did however at first make me wonder if it was a Carerra with an aero kit!

While the trunk dimensions on the 991 have been reduced in plan view, the added depth still allows a 6 year old to fit - no problem.

Kinda funny. I have rear seats and I wish it was a factory delete option. I like the look of the back with no seats and an embroidered model name.

+1, those seats don't do me any good and it I do like the embroidered model name, particularly in red.....

Exactly. I need rear seats in the GT3. I have a wife and a daughter and if I can't get them both in the car with me, I can't have the GT3. My GT-R has tiny little rear seats but they are perfect for my daughter's booster seat. I'd like to add a GT3 to the stable but it's going to require some sort of ability to accommodate a booster seat in the rear.

I would have gotten the GT3 if I could get the rear seats. With two little kids they're great. To have the space and not have the option to use it is silly. There should be a no cost option for those who want them. I'd probably get a 430 if I could get by right now with a 5th car that was only a 2 seater.

You take the family in all 5 cars? I don't get it. Use the SUV for passengers. Drive the GT3 for you.

Porsche can make the rear sears happen in the GT3 if you can find a build slot and get in contact with the right people within Porsche. The same group that is within the Tequipment Group can do it. Just be prepared to spend a ton of money for it to happen! Or you can retrofit them here in the states for much, much cheaper!

Do you know where in California I can find a shop that will retrofit the seats into the GT3?
