I'm not sure of the reveal date, but I'd take Frankfurt over Geneva or any other venue for the following reasons as I've mentioned before:
1. Frankfurt is in Germany
2. Ferrari will be showing their extreme 458 variant: 458 S and Porsche can use the RS to counter
3. 50th anniversary of the 911
4. The mules of the RS look essentially production ready
5. All GT3s released in Geneva have had the RS counterparts released either in Frankfurt or Paris of the same year. There is no Paris show this year, leaving Frankfurt as the most likely potential venue

the rumour that the GT3RS will use the Turbo's widebody, centre pipes and to me it doesn't sound like a turbo motor...

As for the aero etc, recall that the GT3 mule ran around for months sporting aero that did not make it to production...
I'd say there is a 50/50 this is the RS mule using the TT/S body

I think possible unveiling Sept. Bigger wing and different wheels for sure. Maybe some graphics and a Leary paint job too. Im not sure if it will keep the vends but Im guessing so (maybe they have a screw over plate to cover them like on the RSR 991?). I dont see big engine HP jump here - more a taunter slightly lighter and more aggressively sprung/suspension 991 GT3.
Once this thing is reviewed on track there will be no going back to MT.

I agree, I find it hard to believe that this is the final aero pkg though, given that every other RS has distinguished itself via a larger rear CF wing ...
totally PDK-S as well, unless the Stig's German cousin is able to shift the manual in 100ms ...

definitely see engine and brake cooling (are the similar vents on the TT/S "real", i.e what is their function on the tt's?) cant imagine that they would contribute to engine intake ... think how much they would have to change to route air from those to the "traditional" rear-center mounted airbox that mates with the decklid and ram-air intake?

We'd have to see a TT/S in real life to figure out what those vents do on that car to speculate on their purpose on the RS ...
