Default 991 GT3 or 991 50th Anniversary Edition

I'm new to the whole Porsche thing. I had the fortunate opportunity to reserve an allocation for the 991-50 but also am considering the GT3 (either or). But I need your opinions. I'm not crazy about any of the colors being offered for the 991-50. Would you guys/gals pick the 991-50 or GT3? And if the 991-50, then would you get: 1. Geyser grey (lighter). 2. Graphite grey (darker) or 3. Monochrome Black?
If GT3, then what color from the porsche color palate? Sapphire Blue Metallic and Rhodium silver are the new colors being offered.

Choices:

991-50 Geyser Grey

991-50 Graphite Grey

991-50 Monochrome Black

GT3 - What color would you select?

I will be using the car for mostly daily driving with 1 or 2 track days a year. Don't really need back seats. Wife doesn't care which one I get. Appreciate all opinions. Thanks.

DD driveability. no one knows. it's not out yet.
but old GT3 has stiffer clutch, new GT3 no clutch.
it will be lower to ground, if you dont mind chewing up a few lip spoilers, you should have no problem DD the car.

not sure about your area, but SF lift is no use. road is fkd up. unless u lift it every other block, it will get chewed up. plus i dont slow down for speed bump.

speed bump = speed up and let it bump.... that's how i roll.
i buy lip in bulk.
i do have front lift, but it breaks often. do a search and you will see.

Thanks guys, I never considered the front lip spoiler issue. The roads around here in New York/New Jersey would basically require me changing out he lip every week.

The GT3 is a much better value vs. the 50th anniversary model. While there is speculation that the 991 GT3 will depreciate faster than a 997 GT3, the depreciation on a 991 GT3 will be slower than a 991 Carrera.

I think the GT3 looks better in a lighter color because the lighter color accentuates the hips and the width of the car.

Good luck.

NYC and jersey....
well, if 991 lip is similar to 997, it's very easy to remove. just take it off for street use. you wont feel the difference in downforce. you wont have to slow down every block
