Roll Bar Mounting Plate Poll
A quick poll to see whether you think Porsche and/or Andreas Preuninger will "remember" to build U.S.-bound 991 GT3's with rollbar mounting plates installed.
A little background for those that aren't familiar. The factory-installed Clubsport package has never been available to U.S. GT3 owners. However, up until the 997.2 GT3 all GT3's (996 and 997.1) sold in the U.S. came with the factory Clubsport rollbar mounting plates welded into the chassis. This allowed these owners to simply buy the factory Clubsport rollbar in the aftermarket and bolt it in themselves. Meanwhile 997.2 owners had to have the plates installed, which required stripping out carpet and seats, sanding the chassis, welding in plates, and repainting the chassis in order to bolt in the factory bar.
997.2 GT3 track junkies were none too happy and made their feelings known through this forum as well as through other means. Andreas Preuninger indicated in subsequent interviews that this was an oversite on Porsche's part and would be corrected with future US-bound GT3's.
Hence the poll....

Only very few of the earlier .1RS came with plates.
None of the 997 GT3's I thunk.
The 991 won't have them.
It would impress and surprise me if they came with plates and sold a CS package in a box.

As trakcar pointed out, this did not happen with the 997.2s even the ROW cars like mine. Plates were only welded in if you ordered the clubsport package from factory so I'm almost certain this expectation will end in disappointment...
