I guess I don't see how that is any different from the love a lot of you are expressing for it with zero first hand experience.

OTOH, based on their comments, many of the whiners have already decided: the car is for poseurs, it will be fast but not involving, it won't be fun, it won't require any skill to drive, it will be lousy on track, RWS has ruined the car's feel, the steering is numb, etc, etc. Instead of saying, "I'm pessimistic, but I'll reserve judgement until I have more information" (including an actual car or test) the whiners are saying, "My mind is already made up, the car is DOA".
See the difference? It's not an especially subtle one.

I am getting one. If the S is the equal to the prior GT3 where is this one? I bet it rips the paint off the RS. I bet Timo sets a hot lap with it.
It been my experience that women except maybe very young ones, don't care about sports cars. They just want to know if it's paid for or not. LOL

I'm not in "love" with the car. The numbers on paper are excellent, the car looks great in pictures, and I've had 25 years of good experiences with Porsches, so I'm interested and intrigued. I'm open minded, hopeful, and willing to be impressed but am making no definitive statements. Most comments I've seen about the car that are positive take a similar approach.

IMO the car is gorgeous.
I don't like the fact that it is pdk only but who cares the car does look very good and it doesn't look like a 2004 as the 997.2 is based on.
Updated look and more aggressive. The 997 seems very old next to it IMO.
Buy and enjoy. :-)
Now sell all your 997 gt3 at a lowprice so I can buy one. :-)

I think if I heard it I would be all over it. I just have regrets I jumped at the C2S six months ago. I think I would miss the stick, but the performance they give us would probably get me through that.
I am not saying I regret buying the C2S at all, just taking the hit inside one year would be the regret.
