This would be the ultimate 1 car garage. I would take that hands down over a 997.1 or 991.1.
I don’t own a 991.2 yet but this was my criteria I have one slot for a manual fun car and even with PCCM plus there is too much old car
for an extra $50k you get much more everyday value — parking sensors, PDLS+ headlights, auto rev match that can be turned off, power shifting, hill hold for when my significant other drives the car

I have a backup camera on my 997, that’s all I need for parking. I always drive with my headlights on so idiots are more likely to see me. The rest? Not only not necessary but actually take away from the experience IMO.

that’s fair. I’m not looking to turn this into a 991.2 is better than 997 conversation. They’re both fantastic cars. My point is just that if you want every day fun car I personally find the features of the 991 make it better for those different situations, I’ll also include the front axle lift kit is an example of this. I see your point about the experience and think that each person needs to make their own assessment.
I hear you on the features part. I would still take a 991.2 GT3 manual. Throw in PCCB and carbon bucket seats - it's the complete package. In addition, it's a sweet spot for HP @ ~500. It's a quick car, but most impressively is how it puts the power down confidently, while also providing an excellent driving experience.
