2015 991.1 w/ G6 Value?
#16
A 54k mile 2015 991.1 (without G6) recently sold on BaT for $99,991.
If that buyer cannot get the F-series motor to throw the CEL next 10 months under remaining warranty that's >$70K invoice for motor replacement down the road, so >$170,000 seems overpriced in my opinion.
Will be interesting to watch the trend for the 991.1s with and without G6 motors.

No dealer is going to knock 25k off a car. Now a days where people can shop on line your not going to find much wiggle room from salesmen there price is usually adjusted for what’s out there. Always your option to move on.
Maybe try for 5k off.
Of course if they’ve had it on the lot a while you might have some leverage. I’ve also heard toward the end of the month. You can try for a better price.

Nothing crazy. I did a handful of pulls to 9K RPM in auto "PDK SPORT" mode repeatedly. For example on a long stretch of open highway, put the car in Auto mode with "PDK SPORT" enabled, manually downshift to 2nd gear (say 5k RPM) and then floor it, and let the car shift itself automatically up to 3rd gear. If I had a really open stretch of road I'd do the same to the top of 3rd gear (although hard to do without going to jail).
I would do that back to back 3-5 times when possible. After doing that on maybe 6 different days it started to misfire occasionally up top. Then after a couple more days of doing that it would misfire consistently above 8600RPM in 2nd gear.
My engine did have 54k miles on it though, so I assume there was already wear beginning to happen before I did this. However when I first got the car it did not misfire at all.

Of course this is with some 'fun' driving and bouncing her off the redline which is stupid easy to do.
You'll know when you trigger the right misfire code(s) when the car goes into limp mode attempting to exceed 8,250k RPM.

Lots of info out there, but seems most E-series motors letting go 18-28k miles, and F-series letting go at double such interval. Makes sense since a bandaid was applied to the F-series motors.
