Default LWB pads for lumbar comfort

I’d love to hear about options you all recommend for lumbar pads you can use in LWB to make the seats more liveable on the back with long drives?

I’ve been using Sparco lumbar supports on all my LWB seats, Easy to install just lift the back cushions and install. Makes a big difference.

+1 for the Sparco lumbar pillows. ~20 bucks each, 5min to install, undetectable once installed, and makes the LWBS all-day comfortable for me.

I use the Tempurpedic travel one, it's been great but definitely want to switch to something undetectable. https://www.tempurpedic.com/other-pr...-travel/v/791/

I have P1 Designs replacement seat inserts with their optional adjustable lumbar support in my GT2 RS LWBs. They aren't cheap but quality is first rate and the adjustable lumbar support works well.

If you want something quick and effective, this lumbar cushion works great for me while at the track: https://amzn.to/3WjNL5l

It fits perfectly in the buckets and I can move it up and down where I need it most. While driving around town for short trips, I just store it behind the driver's seat. Works great!

Are the P1 replacement inserts thicker than the factory inserts? I need not only lumbar support, but also a thicker insert in general due to my size. I find I don't really sit "in" the buckets as much as sitting "on" the sides. There is a substantial gap between my low back and the seat. Anything more than 30 minutes or so and I'm ready to get out to stretch for awhile.

I had the P1 Designs inserts and added the memory foam into the seat cushion, turns "sitting on" into "sitting in" - YMMV

I placed memory foam behind the Houndstooth inserts in my buckets. Although the Houndstooth inserts protrude slightly, no one notices and the support it provides is perfect. The product I purchased on Amazon is no longer available. I simply bought a square of memory foam (about 1.5 inches thick, ballpark) and cut it into pieces and added and removed pieces until it felt just right. They have been in there for 5 years now, without any modification. Glad to hear you went with the buckets for your new ride!

you should reach out to Kims @P1Designs I am sure she can custom make inserts with additional padding ...

Adjustable lumbar support, and way less expensive than the P1Designs option.

+1 Kim at @P1Designs is very approachable and responsive; I'm certain that P1 could make whatever you require.....
