Thank you all for your feedback. I ended up buying a $4880 3-year Porsche Platinum warranty with $250 deductible. Worse comes to worse I do lose that money but it buys me a peace of mind, knowing that any issue would have likely cost me that much and likely more

Ditto! My CPO expires July of this year and 10 year engine warranty runs out Nov this year. Already spoke to Porsche about the warranty. Roughly 5k for several years peace of mind is a no brainer. Bullet proof or not, things happen and very little on our cars is going to cost less than a few grand to repair or replace. Transferable is nice too, just in case...
You got a similar price as my 2018. Granted I have close to 30k but my additional 3/36k was $5800. We're punting it out to May when my CPO expires.

Yup. Maybe because the car is still under CPO? They didn't seem to have any concerns.

1. Under factory warranty “active”
2. CPO is still “active” or “in tact” if you purchase from some-one privately or directly purchased the car through a Porsche Dealer.

This is under Porsche … the Porsche Platinum Warranty. Extended warranty through Porsche with various years of extension you choose from but obviously price increases with each year …
