Thank you all for your feedback. I ended up buying a $4880 3-year Porsche Platinum warranty with $250 deductible. Worse comes to worse I do lose that money but it buys me a peace of mind, knowing that any issue would have likely cost me that much and likely more

They let you get it on a .1? That's fantastic!

You got a similar price as my 2018. Granted I have close to 30k but my additional 3/36k was $5800. We're punting it out to May when my CPO expires.

Yup. Maybe because the car is still under CPO? They didn't seem to have any concerns.

Stop by your dealer and ask the F&i person. Others have posted costs here too.

My dealer wouldn't let me buy a warranty for my 2014 w/ 25k miles that's out of the 10y window. Not sure exactly why.

Again … you must be:

1. Under factory warranty “active”
2. CPO is still “active” or “in tact” if you purchase from some-one privately or directly purchased the car through a Porsche Dealer.

This is under Porsche … the Porsche Platinum Warranty. Extended warranty through Porsche with various years of extension you choose from but obviously price increases with each year …

It's not underwritten by Porsche. It's underwritten by Safe Gaurd.
