The 10 year-120k mile warranty on the 991.1 GT3 engine counts as a factory warranty. So as long as you still have that, you're good to go with the Porsche extended service contract.

Makes sense but what is the pricing for the 991.1? Anyone here do this? Would be curious? My 2018 991.2 I extended for 48 more months was $5,200.

Yeah, I doubt Porsche wants to handle or underwrite claims.

Mine had no awareness of the offering, it took them a few days to figure it out. I'd keep pressing.

My CPO expired in January. I bought a Platinum plan through PCNA, good for six more years and 100,000 miles. The car has 20K miles on it now. I've given up on finding a 992 at a 'reasonable' price, so the extended warranty seemed like the best move, both for financial reasons and peace of mind.

Has anybody tried getting alternate terms based on milage? There's no way I'll ever touch 12k a year, seems silly to pay for it and would reduce their risk as well.

I asked because I agree, I'll drive MAYBE 2,000 miles a year They said not on the Porsche warrantys only on the "aftermarket" ones.

Since the Porsche Platinum warranty is transferable to the next owner, I'm hoping I'll recoup some of it when I sell it to maybe someone who will drive it much more.
