WTB/FS: 991.2 Touring GT3

Market control
Some of you guys might remember Richard Sloan. Years ago we were talking and he revealed his plan to buy as many 993 Turbo S’s as he could manage. Then he could control the market by slowly selling one car at a time and controlling the sales pricing. This concept is now more visible due to the internet.
The S/T and Sport Classics will continue to rise in pricing because of the limited production and huge demand.
My dealer offered me $195K for my 2019 GT3 Touring with less than 10K miles towards a CPO Sport Classic which was priced at $470K and had 4K miles… I kindly declined.
I already sold my previous 991.2 Touring three years ago and will not make the same mistake again. I wish that I could just have the attitude to drive it everyday but I do realize that it is a pretty special car and will go up in value, so it is still on weekend duty with the 964…

Man 400k for a Touring seems tough. Not saying it wont happen, but as someone who was hot on a Touring and is now in a winged car, imho it's not a 400k driving experience. At that point were starting to get into some rare air.

As a Touring owner i'd love to see values continue to climb so long as owners keep driving their cars. Unfortunately it usually means owners mothball them and they turn into show cars. Guess we'll see but these cars are particularly beautiful when compared to what's come since, in my opinion.

I have gotten to know the owner of this car over the past few years and have watched him baby this car. It's in excellent condition, always on a Porsche trickle charger and on foam pads to avoid flat spots when it sat in the winter (year-round climate controlled garage).
This was the car that I sat in and realized "I need to own one of these." If anyone is interested, bid with confidence.

NA production ~750 units > is some rare air. Even rarer with only 150+ PTS.
One of the dealers local to me is asking $779K for an on the ground S/T. Now you tell me if that is an $800K driving experience at more than twice the production numbers? Rather buy 2-3 low mileage 991.2Ts and put them on ice.

Yeah the fact that Champion and others have on the ground STs for sale really makes one wonder how Porsche will ever tamp down the flippers. On the other hand, i saw a dark blue ST this past weekend at coffee and it was pretty hard to distinguish from a 992 Touring, only the white wheels and gold Porsche lettering gave it away. No one seemed to care all that much.

Those are my thoughts as well. You can spend $100K on CXX interior on a Touring and make it as close as possible and save for the dent on the roof and lettering and of course what is under the hood, it's pretty much the same car, not worth the ridiculous premiums all of these dealers want to charge. That Champion ask is just comical. But there is always someone that will pay it, and here we are all of this GT car years later in the same rinse repeat spinwheel.

South Florida and LA have that market covered. The purosangue is a joke. At least the lusso looks good.
