Hi,
I'm in the UK, so:

I am sure Dundon & others will offer similar adjustable tie rods/kits in the US.
Atb,
Mark

Kind of wondered about that....
Do you know any mods which will help the front end turn in on the 991??
Cheers!

a very aggressive alignment (toe out on front axle and plenty of negative camber).
The benefit of the double wishbones on the 992 is that the negative camber increases the harder you load the car into a corner, so it doesn’t need lots of static negative camber or front toe out (which can make the car pretty nervous on the road).

I guess you could just go for

Guess I will have to work with what I have, it never felt really limited until I drove that 992...
Cheers!

Agreed Grant, as I mentioned earlier, a double wishbone is superior, just saying you can close the gap with a more aggressive set up to improve 991 turn in/reduce understeer and use after market components to reduce the downsides.

In a recent podcast with Chris Harris, AP stated that the 992 GT engine was better than the Mezger engine. Maybe I'm reading too much into it - but he never said that about the 991 engine.

991.2 rs (OPF) and speedster share the 992 engine.
Not sure how much architecture they changed of any significance other than ITBs.
I wonder if they improved the way the cam shims are retained? I suspect they did, as they say this is effectively the race car engine (although they have said that before....) so should have race car design and not spit out shims....

RS
Well this thread seems to have taken a life of its own. Lol. Thanks for all the input guys, I appreciate it! In the end I ended up going with the RS. Even though I’m sure the 992 is a more capable car on track with the new suspension, there is something that kept pulling me back to the 991 style. Not to mention all the 992’s I looked at were still 40-50k over MSRP. The RS just called to me and it only has 3k miles on the clock.
