Default Sabelt 6 pt harnesses install

I'm installing a rollbar and 6 point harnesses in my 991.1 with LWBs. I purchased the Sabelt GT specific harnesses which have lap belt connectors similar to the stock seat belt connector. It seems the stock seat belt receptacle bolts are too short to stack the receptacle with the harness connector. The vendor stated they have sold hundreds of these harnesses and nobody has mentioned this. I see Shroth sells a bolt kit. Is this what people use? I tried searching and couldn't find a definitive answer.

Thanks

It's been a while, but I believe I had to use this kit when installing the Schroths on my car.

I think that's what SP Motorsports used on my car as well.

Upvote here on the BBi kit as well. Schroth makes one too, but I didn't have good results with that on my prior GT4 (same seats), and ended up using the BBi for future installs. You can also source your own screws, but BBi's already done the legwork

Ordered, thanks again. I would think they would include this with the harnesses, a little frustrating.

100% agree that it's ridiculous, just from a logistics perspective, given that they are advertised to fit GT3 LWBS. They should at least explicitly state that hardware is needed, like buying a monitor that doesn't come with an HDMI cable

I got my harnesses installed. I will mention one hang up. I had. The Sabelt harness attachment bracket has a hole in it sized to go over the metal internally threaded boss in the seat rail. However, it didn't go over this because of the applied paint/ powder coat. I had to carefully sand the ID of the bracket to get it to slide over this and then the install went smoothly.
