Now listed @ $209,110 on Cars.com. Gorgeous car inside and out.
Maybe because I grew up with Ontario as basically an adjacent state, the whole Canadian car concern strikes me as odd. But if there's nothing else concerning going on, the time listed for sale doesn't lie.
Come in with feigned Canadian Ebola perception as above, bit more negotiation & a buy.

the halo cars or really unique spec will def have a unique buyer but for this car I guess why not let your price come to you?
while I was in the market for a bridge car while I’m waiting for a new car that’s been delayed I took this approach and I got this type of text often:
*for context, this was a 2800 mile CPO GT3.

have to ask at this point why would anyone be a price taker? Just as 2 years ago it was a forgone conclusion prices were only going up, now it’s a forgone conclusion prices will only go down over time. It’s not a controversial statement.

Strong negotiation, or passive buyer, whichever works for you. get yourself a good deal and go for a drive.
Didn't you just buy a signal yellow? Sweet btw.

Why would anyone negotiate for a price, i.e., be a current buyer? Guess because the end goal is to actually drive the things sometime in this lifetime??

I support what you’re saying, when you find the one, go get it!

Thanks for the replies everyone. After some conversations with the dealer, they are firm on the price...which is pretty mind boggling at this point. I do prefer this spec, but not at this price!

They are probably waiting for the summer rush and will probably find a buyer then. Inventory is pretty low and they know that.

Wait for the right opportunity on BAT - at least there you know the market sets the price… not the GM

GT3 (and touring) due to smaller wheels and tires sit lower than GT3RS. 991 GT3 is the lowest sitting of all GT3s I believe including 992. So FAL is a deal breaker for most people. You could do without it but so many people look for it and eliminate the car without it which is why its a hard sell.

I'm in the Northeast and have some pretty flat roads around me, including my driveway. I've put the FAL under the "nice to have but not essential" box in terms of the spec I'm looking for. Should I be rethinking this?

LOL I guess it's where you live. No FAL is not a deal breaker for me, especially if it's the spec I want. I've had it on both of my 992 GT3's and have barely ever used it. I don't have it on my 991.1 3RS and don't miss it, but I'm in Florida, plus the previous gen GT3's and 3RS lips are cheap enough. @drc4ss

A buyer could pick an assortment of options as dealbreakers, e.g., full leather, FAL, PCCB, color, seats, condition, price, extended tank, Canadian car, etc. Might be easier than flat out saying FAL is a dealbreaker and prioritize what's most important. Sure, for some FAL may be an immediate full stop. Where I think this brings a lot of debate is because there are so few cars available, and for some FAL is down on the priority list and wouldn't be a dealbreaker if all other conditions were met. For example, I would take any GT car without FAL if it was the right color and had every other option I wanted. You can learn to adapt and live without FAL. However, not as easy to adapt when you sacrifice color, full leather, seats, PCCB, etc. One involves driving and approaching things more carefully while others will haunt indefinitely. Just my $0.02.

I've had my GT3 Touring for 5-1/2 years now (21,500 miles), and can't imagine not having the FAL. Yes, I do live in the hilly San Francisco Bay Area, but I literally couldn't have gotten out of some flat parking lots and gas stations without it. Would it be a deal breaker for me if I were looking for a used one without it, probably not, but you must be prepared for some special maneuvering in certain situations.
