Besides the ones already mentioned, there are some more Bay Area Porsche service shops listed here…

^ Half those shops are either no longer exist or I would never visit.

I had my 2018 991.2 serviced at Fremont this week, and to echo, Cory was fantastic. He did a diagnostic drive with me and had just returned from Germany, driving GT3s and GT4s at the ‘ring. Even though Gunther is no longer there, the SA, Monica, was great. Very efficient and effective at resolving my issues.

Well, I figured it was time to finally make an account and introduce myself here, i've heard more about this thread than anything else work/car related in the last month ![hiha](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/roflmao.gif)
I really appreciate all the kind words and comments posted here, it makes all the hard work my team and I put into the store on a daily basis feel much better, especially lately.
I've met with a lot of you personally the last few months, and have reached out to many people that were caught in the limbo of uncertainty with Gunter's exit. Him and I are still as close as ever, he's mentored me and taught me how to manage people for the better part of the last decade, and has opened every door for me in the Porsche world. Even if we're at different locations now, nothing is changing with our relationship. Nothing has changed on a personal level with how I will be conducting business with our/my range of clients old/new going forward, whether its special needs or attending to the odd issue on any car, i've rarely said no to anything in my time with Porsche and will continue to do amazing work as long as i'm on this side of the dirt.
Feel free to reach out to me directly on here or contact the store if you need any help or assistance with anything.
-Cory

Ok time to revive the thread since Cory joined Gunther actually - how's Fremont now?
And any other shops closer to the south bay to do GT car work?
Stevens Creek said oil change is $1078 (!!!).
Fremont is $650 (400 three years ago. service costs going up quickly around here!) but brake fluid is $350.
Even Modderman is $550 for oil change and $210 for brake bleed, my best option at this point. Ironic thing about his name is that he won't allow the customer to provide parts.
I would do this myself but garage is getting crowded and I need the records for the damn 3rd party warranty per their agreement.
