Misfire: Dealer said is common and no big deal
2015 911.1 GT3. Sat during winter undriven for 3 months. Fired it up, and went on longer drive, no problems. A couple weeks later, fired it up. Start up sounded bad and the Engine Control Fault Permission to Drive dash warning came on. Went through the normal sequence of letting it sit, etc.,, fault did not clear and still had same unusual sound when started. Took it to dealer for the 2 year service and was told that it had misfire "which is common when a car sits for a while and no big deal. We cleared did the service which included the plugs, so you are good to go." Drives as it should now.
So, is this common? It has never happened before in my years of ownership and 12K miles of driving.

Burning Brakes
I had this happen once and they swapped the plug from one side to another and it fixed it. This also seems to happen if the car is low on gas, dealer told me to never let the tank go below 1/4 full.

Check the oil/oil pan for fine metal flakes, which is indicative of the lifters eating themselves.
