Hi All,

I recently got a 991.2 gt3 that has aluminum trim. It seems like the only solution is:
1) Wrap in vinyl - eww
2) DB Carbon door trim overlay

Can someone please confirm that the DB Carbon door trim actually fits over the aluminum trim without removing it?

yes it will fit very well. it’s thin yet strong enough to not be able to tell the difference. highly recommend

It replaces the aluminum trim, it does not fit over it. The DB Carbon website will show you the actual parts.

He is referring to the door trim. The aluminum door trim is glued on from behind the door and tabs will need to be broken in order to replace. The door lining backing has 3m adhesive and sticks onto the existing material.

i have the DB carbon CF door trim covers on my car and fitment isn’t that great to be honest. It’s mounted over your factory trim and held on by double sided tape.
