I saw a silver car with black wheels and thought it looked pretty good. I have a very traditional setup with factory silver wheels and am thinking about changing it up a bit.
Any thoughts or advice appreciated. Also what wheels would you recommend?

Thanks,
Matt.
It looks good. Both look good. 991 Touring is hard to screw up.
I ran satin black Forgelines on my prior GT Silver 981 GT4. The only downside, imho, with satin black wheels is they don't always look as good in photographs; but in real life, they look fantastic. Specifically, I think Satin looks very good and easy to maintain overall (they don't look awful when dirty).
Black wheels look good with pretty much any exterior color. Could recommend a ton of different wheels but it would be easier if you gave a sense of how much you're willing to fork over as there are a ridiculous amount of options out there across a very wide spend range.
One downside - the OEMs are nice looking wheels and black pretty effectively masks the look.
With PCCBs, there is no worry about dust, but you have to keep your tires impeccable - they can look brown or grey when set against black wheels if they aren't cleaned/dressed.
Both pics above look great. I would not change to black or a new wheel setup until you move from looks pretty good to looks amazing. Just not worth it when the car looks so nice as it sits.
I have a set of factory 991.2 gt3 take-offs wheels in satin platinum(gray) perfect condition I might sell if you’re interested. I bought a set of silver take-offs.
I am the minority here but I never liked black wheels since it takes away contrast and details. I have the white gold magnesium wheels on my GT silver 991.2 RS and love it. I would strongly suggest going that way.

White gold is my favorite. I have WG e88s on my 993 and they never get old.
Mags are awesome wheels... $19k a set for a proper set of BBS.
Alternatively, there is the aluminum BBS RE-MTSP in white gold, which is the same design albeit a little heavier.
