I thought mine imploded a few months back with all the misfire engine fault codes P0302 and P0303 that would suggest a bad FF. Porsche NA pushed back and said it was the coils. Since i didn't want to pay the dealer to replace all 6 coils with a quoted price of $1550 not including tax, took it back home and DIY all 6 coils and 6 fresh plugs which cost me just a little over $400. Mine has been running strong and fairly well so far.
If you're wondering your 2014 GT3 motor was replaced at port due to engine catching on fire due to a loose piston rod screw which subsequently damaged the crankcase. AE11 was the campaign code for motor replacement. Since I bought mine as a CPO 2.5yrs ago, the vehicle history campaign was included in the packet.
2015, 42k miles, car still looks almost brand new :-). Never had an issue with anything - forget engine issues, this is the most reliable, best built, no gremlin car I’ve ever owned! Knock on wood.
I’ve had brand new daily drivers with more problems in a month from MB, BMW etc.
To be fair, Porsche makes insanely reliable cars. My 27 year old 993 and 997 TTS have been problem free beyond regular maintenance.
2015; F engine; 22,500 miles total. Other than a few HPDE days and a few weekends at TOOD, all street miles. I did have one coil pack go out, but it was replaced under CPO warranty. Considering a manual 992 Carrera T but not sure I'm ready to give up the GT car.
2015 with about 13.5k miles; mostly street with some lapping. Have never had an issue, the car is rock solid reliable. I have asked my dealer a few times about how many engines they have had to replace; consistently the answer is zero.

it’s hard to say how many cars have had engines replaced out of the 6,300 cars made from 2013-16 I believe 785 for the 14s.

Was your car still under CPO when the coils went out? Just wondering why they didn't cover it.
New to me in Feb of '22 w/19k on the clock. Rolled past 25k mi a few days ago. No issues so far.
I retract my previous statement. My F motor went prior to my ownership of the car. No mention of it in vehicle history reports, nothing from Porsche dealer mentioning it during sale (purchased remotely).
Poking around tonight, serial number on the block started with G6.

Sooooo Motor F02901 went kaboom before 20k miles.
Interesting that it wasn't disclosed! But glad to hear things are working well since the swap.
