Noted that several DIY'ers' have been performing the PDK Clutch fluid change and the differential (final drive) gear oil change. For specifically a GT3, and more specific for a 991.2 GT3, on the differential change, the service manual states under WM99035, Step 4, 3.4.3 it states to extract 150 ML of oil, if the oil level is at the lower edge of the filler opening on GT3 vehicles! Thus far i have read several write ups on those that have performed the differential gear oil change but in the write up no one mentions haveing to pull out 150 ML of oil as the final step. Just asking. Seemed odd in that in all my years of checking oil levels in manual transmissions, differentials etc., it has normally been if it just barely runs out of the fill hole, you are good to go. first time i have ever seen if it is at the lower edge of the hole to pull more out? Asking and also making sure that those of you performing this on your GT3, that you are in fact performing this step, or has their been an update to the procedure that I am unaware of? I am getting ready to change both fluids on a .1 and I have a piwis. For the diff, dump it and refill, drive it around and recheck, fill more if needed till it spills out the hole.
On the pdk fluid, I not going to pull the pan yet, dump, refill , and get it up to the test temp, let it spill out, or add as need and call it done. It appears the piwis will operate the pdk for 20 min after the valve body has been pulled to cycle threw all the gears, then you can check you level.

I just did my diff with the 150ml extraction according to WM 399035. Wasn't that bad. Car drives amazing. Wished I had done this sooner.
