Default Looking to upgrade to .1 RS

I am sure I can read through many threads but I figured I would ask. What should I look out for? I am looking for PCCB, extended range tank and FAL, I know some people hate it, but I love mine and need it for my trailer. Anything else a must? I have 19" track wheels that I use on my 991.GT3 and Girodisc will they fit? On my 991.1 GT3 I had to change a rear suspension bolt, I assume I have to do the same? Thanks for any help.

I recently went from a .2GT3 to .2RS. I run 19" also and I replaced the suspension bolt on my RS. Just make sure you get the correct Girodisc's meaning if you had steel rotors (red caliper) on your GT3 and going to PCCB (yellow caliper) on RS, you need to get the larger Girodisc made for the RS. I have Ext Tank and FAL on my RS and those (for me) were a must. I also upgraded to the Tarett Caliper Bolts when I put on my Girodisc and Ferodo pads. Is it required, no, but its a smart move. Any other changes you want to make to the new car are personal preferences. I upgraded exhaust, airbox intake, adjusted rear wing, added rollbar and harnesses, added DSC controller, added AWE window triangles, removed drag blocks behind front wheels and removed front wheel well meshes. I havent touched alignment or sway bar settings yet.

GL on your search!

Thanks. I have Girodisc/PCCB on my .1 GT3 as well as the Tarrett studs and SS brake line upgrade to ease pad changes. Definitely run out of gas after two sessions so agree with you on Ext Tank. I have the .1 DSC controller I wonder if it works if .1 GT3? I have just a harness bar instead of a full cage, I assume that will work as well. Fingers crossed.

with the DSC, i was able to go onto their website and update the software for the RS from my priorGt3 file.. Was a super easy transition, shouldn't take more than 5 min. I believe they have instructions on their website on how to do it.

Sounds like you've got it covered. Would say definitely don't compromise on the extended tank. RS in full aero gets terrible mileage everywhere! It's remarkable, like minus 4-5 mpg on the drive to/from the track vs base, and guzzles on track

Pay no attention to what others especially forum people think, buy what you like with the options you like.

People on the forum are primarily obsessed with these menial subjects.

- Resale values because paid ADM.
- Deviated stitching.
- What PTS is that and does it stand out at C&C.

991.1 GT3 DSC and 991.1 GT3 RS DSC are the same according to Tom. (I just asked him this question via email).

I assume .2 is different than .1 but I don't know.

Have you gotten any wholesale prices recently? I too am looking - there are like 50 for sale right now, I am ready to do some lowballing, but want to know what latest Manheim (last 30 days) trades have looked like
