Default Tire Rack has removed all N rated tires from search

I went on today to see if they updated delivery dates for Michelin or Dunlops for my GT3. Tirerack now doesn't show any N rated tires, they don't even show up in search. This is getting ridiculous.

I ended up getting Pilot Sport Cup 2s with the Ferrari spec for my 991.2 GT3. Porsche dealer sourced them and installed them. The tires I had would not pass state inspection and I had waited 6 months to get an N spec. Never happened. Haven’t driven the car much enough to notice a difference. I don’t track this car so assuming any differences would be noticed there anyway.

I was told to get the K2 Ferrari, exactly the same spec tire.

I know several 991.1/.2 GT3 owner are running the Good Year Eagle F1 Supercar 3 which apparently come OEM on some new 992 GT3 builds; however, for the 20" wheel the rear is not 103Y load rated (1,929). The F1 305/30/ZR20 is 99Y (1,709).
These tires are also HALF the cost of a CUP2, and receive very good track reviews.

I have called around and first they were saying August then September then October. It’s a bad look for Porsche that you can’t get Porsche rated tires.

I'd sooner guess there's a new version in the works than a complete discontinuation of the existing stuff.

Would not take OE Cup 2 or Dunlops over Nankang CR-S for equal money. Base GT3 owners should really consider.

Be careful, Ferrari-spec tires aren't the same size. I mean... they are the same on-paper size, but in real life they are smaller. My buddy had to order them and when placed next to the Porsche N-spec, the Ferrari rubber is smaller.

EDIT:
Not Ferrari spec, but Ford GT spec.

I have 1 or 2 sets of Dunlop's and one set of Trofeo Rs purchased for a busy season that did not happen (it will next season). Some are heat cycled by TR. GT3 RS sizes. Pretty sure the tires on the Lizard will get me at least one more day. And those days are numbered in New England. Have a backup set of mounted Trofeos if the weather is my friend.
Possibly a track day this Saturday. Fingers crossed.

BS - first hand experience here, order the K-2’s, they are a direct match.

How sure are you? N1s are actually more like a 320 not a 305. The K2s were for the Ferrari 296 GTB which came with 11 in wheels in the rear (I think).
