Default Exclusive Fuel Cap

Does anyone have this particular fuel cap on their 991 GT3? It is listed as a 992 part according to a local Porsche parts dept. Wasn't sure if Porsche changed the nozzle from 991 to 992 and am seeing conflicting reports on older RL posts.

Did you take off the cover so everyone can see it as you drive by?

I went an aluminum aftermarket fuel cap. Quality not as good as I hoped it would be.

those cosmic rays can be detrimental to safe operation of the gas cap!

You guys are funny. How many of you wear nice underwear but have no plans of walking around with an open zipper or your pants falling half off just to show off your underwear?

That cap looks good. I'd be interested to buy one for my 991.2 if it fits. Keep us updated.

BTW, I do have nice underwear! LOL

The coolant tank and oil fill caps are so much better than the gas tank cap. I don’t understand why they cheaped out so much on it. Would pay for an all-aluminum cap in the same design as the 992.

Is that the "Ding Dong" cap? Any idea what it weighs? Calories?

I got hooked. I looked it up, and it's on the list for the 991.2 GT3 parts. I ordered it, will arrive next week. No question it will fit.

I had that cap on my 991 C4 GTS and now have it on my 991 911 Turbo Exclusive, Cayenne Turbo S & GTS. All came from the factory...

Bling Alert!

This is the one I bought from Suncoast to replace the standard black one on my 3RS.

It's still in the box after a year. But I'll eventually put it on.
