Default Trailer Tie down

Hi All

I'm just wondering if anyone has used this method of when trailering?

Have a Aluma 8218LP arriving tomorrow.

I know about many other ways of Rennline etc.

I use that for the rear. Car is so low in front I use the futura straps that go over/around the tires.

I can have E Track installed and go over the tires as well. How far from the edges is your E Track and is it Vertical E Track or Horizontal? I also see they have both in 1 now.

Perhaps if I leave the front Axle lift up it will give enough clearance.

I use a lasso on the front tires with a hook on one end for the fronts and use a Lasso on the rear with a "D" ring and attach a ratchet to the ring.

Buy this product with confidence. I have 2 sets similar and been a customer for at least 15 years. They used to be (and may still be) made in the USA which is a plus. I use them on enclosed the trailer and no problem with the front or rear: GT2, GT3RS, 965, 958, 911, and other cars. Tying down to D-rings.
(and I own a couple of hundred big rigs and trailers and other commercial vehicles, so I know a little bit about straps)

I use that for front and back works great. For the front opt for non-sewn ends as for me the car is too close to the mounting points. https://www.macscustomtiedowns.com/c...et-only-422035 I also have to remove the "padding" as I am using 19" wheels and there is not a lot of room up front to clear the PCCB rotor.

one trick that may help: don’t pass the strap all the way thru the rim, but rather just 1 spoke on the wheel. This means you do t have to crawl under the car or worry about clearing a rotor that is close the the barrel of the rim.
