Thanks fellas, sounds like I need to buy an RS that is a CPO only and sell it just before the CPO expires!

Interestingly enough I am talking to Dallas Auto Exchange, and they have a 19 RS and he offered to add an extended warranty from Safeguard. I told him that I don't think they offer one for the RS and he replied that he put the VIN in their system, and it accepted it. Told him to call tomorrow and double check, so I will report back

Is there general consensus that if obtainable, Fidelity Platinum is the best option?

Fidelity is exclusionary coverage, and is considered an extremely high level of coverage for Porsche models / it is very popular and the coverage is impressive. I think it’s safe to say that most will fully agree

If you have a GT car Fidelity will not sell you a warranty. I don’t know why they keep posting on this thread pretending like you can get one. Contrary to their posts on here I have a voicemail from Mike flat out saying they don’t offer warranties on GT cars.

Not a GT3 RS, but thought would share for others:
Just added the PORSCHE Financial Services Platinum (vs. mechanical only) VSC out of warranty plan for 72 months, $100 deductible, expires May 2028 at 103,072 miles (add 80K miles to current odo reading).
Was provided four different options for which I selected the max coverage.
Requested this action with current CPO expiring SEPT 2022, so perhaps asking before CPO expiration matters, as well as the dealership rep may matter as well.
This is a fully transferable warranty to a private party sale for $50.00 service fee, or receive the prorated remaining amount if I ever trade.
This is a third party provider, but direct from PORSCHE with all PORSCHE parts honored at participating/approved N/A locations.
I am beyond pleased with this exception to warranty Underwriting approval.
Was NOT an inexpensive option, but talk about having piece-of-mind especially with a known 'grenadeable' 991.1 engine.
Also have their transferable tire/wheel/windshield/dent repair 5 year package which have saved cash twice to-date.
Could not be happier knowing the car is covered for a long duration, and I drive as much as possible, and always shall!

I must agree because after I went thru their online system they sent an email saying they would get back with me which they never did.

The dealer offering the Safeguard warranty also never got back to me on a $270,000 RS, so I assume he cannot get it and thus the reason he blew me of

Sounds like a safe bet, reach out at (855) 924-1333 or tgibson@highline-autos.com if you're still looking for coverage, we have many GT3 and GT3RS customers with our Freedom Warranty provider.

I used to work for the parent company behind Fidelity Warranty Services and I can confirm that they in fact DO NOT offer coverage for the RS (trust me, I tried as an employee). They aren’t cheap but will not nickel and dime you for coverage. We would hire ASE certified mechanics and put them on the phones to deal with the shops and claims. Eliminates fraud and puts real technicians on the other end vs some administrative person trained to say no.

As far as all of these companies posting links or sites for Fidelity, they are all resellers or dealers working as the front to Fidelity. Unknown fact, but JM&A (parent company of Fidelity) is also white labeled as factory extended warranty for many manufacturers.

I’m not selling here, just some honest feedback from a GT owner. They are legit and great for any non-RS vehicles.

Has any had experience with the Integrity Warranty offering? Looking at an exclusionary coverage for a 16 RS I am purchasing (dealer is providing the basic warranty and I can extend it and make it exclusionary for a bit more). Very excited to pick up this car (Lava) except worried about potential for major engine work out of warranty.

Any update on what warranty plan you went with at the end?

Any recommendations from members here?
