Default Removing Akrapovic Plugs

Trying to remove these pieces used with the link pipes and struggling. Any recommendations?

Try to spin it with a tool to break the adhesion before trying to pull apart?

WD40 all around the surface and keep it vertical to allow the WD40 to "seep" in between ...
