991.1 GT3 RS 1-2 shift in manual mode
I know there are a ton of PDK threads on the forum, but I’ve yet to find one specific to this possible issue.
We all know the PDK is quirky at low speeds. One thing I’ve noticed is that when shifting manual from 1st to 2nd gear, the car *sounds* as if there is a slight hesitation. I tend to shift right as the exhaust valves fully open which could explain part of the problem, as the valves are opening then closing almost immediately after due to shifting to a higher gear. The car doesn’t do it while shifting in auto, but the car also shifts at a much lower rpm prior to the exhaust valves being open. This is only a 1-2 issue, I don’t notice it in any other gear.
Has anyone else with a .1 noticed this? The car has just over 13k miles on it. It could be that I’m just hearing things. I figured I’d check with other owners before taking it to the shop.
