Auto Sport on the track and most of the time on the street. I sometimes use Manual Sport on the street and use the shifter for fun...almost never use the paddles.

Probably 50/50. I prefer to use the stick for manual (forward to downshift, back to upshift) over the paddles FWIW (not that anyone asked that of me).

In the neighborhood auto/normal.
As soon as I’m out Sport mode; auto 90%, manual 10%.

I leave mine in auto all the time. Think I tried manual once and didn't feel like dealing with it around town.

Auto until it's warmed up...then manual.

Mind you this was before he had even had a drink but I drove it like I dove my RS, manual mode. He was aghast at what he had been missing all these years. Some people simply don’t know what they are behind the wheel of. Manual 100 % of the time.
He never wondered what the paddles were there for? that's kinda scary. Sounds like he should have a full time designated driver!

I drive mine in manual on the street but auto is better on the track for me as I have a hard time getting near the limiter without bouncing off it occasionally (which messes with the "flow").

Same here. Only exception is on long highway drives heading out of town, in that situation I'll leave it in auto to cruise.

When you manually shift in auto it holds the gear for a few seconds which can mess up your timing on track if you are expecting the PDK to go back immediately to auto. In my case I drive in auto but I manually short shift into 4th at the sound booth at Laguna on 90db days. I have to remember to manually downshift back to 3rd before the apex of turn 6 or the car is lugging up the hill in 4th. The delay in resuming auto mode there is just a little too long for that stretch of track. In a perfect world I would short shift into 4th and then auto mode would resume and take the car back down to third while braking into turn 6. I'm not willing to give up auto on the rest of the track for just that sequence however.

in city traffic, doing it in manual makes me feel redundant. The PDK shifts so fast and seamless, pulling the paddle doesnt really get me anymore satisfaction than having the computer do it (unless you purposely want to rev hang to make noise next to Teslas or priuses). I gave up after a while and always do it in auto. On other cars which doesnt shift as smooth or "smart", I am 100% manual always (R8, performante, 458, scud etc.). I shift to manual whenever there's room for me to blow the rev and hear that flatsix, or in the canyons. I imagine I would do Auto sport on track

PDK-S once fully warmed up. Auto 75%, Manual 25% - with a few upshifts and downshifts here and there while in Auto.

regular automatic
auto/pdk sport
Manual
What do you mean about the shift points?
