Default Girodisc or J Hook? Also What Brake Pads

Stock cross drilled rotor starting to crack and figure it’s time for new set of pads and rotors.

Looks like between Girodisc or J Hook for rotors

and Ferodo DS2500 for pads.

Car will only see spirit driving on mountain roads (deals gap)

what are your thoughts on the rotors and pads?

any recommendation on which vendor to order parts from?

thanks,

Li

If you dont track the car i think you have a solid plan with the ds2500. i have the j hooks and i love them so im a little bias but ive heard good things about the girodisc too.
essex are having a black friday sale right now

For any type of mountain driving, OEM should do just fine (unless you’re accidentally riding the brakes). If you don’t track, non-OEM rotors are a big waste of money.

he has to change the oem ones so he might as well upgrade for less money too.

I’ve had girodisc recommended to me by the vendor who sells both. They’re pretty great. Girodisc caliper studs are great too. Their kit is than tarret. Still need tarret brake line studs though.
