Default What is this drool on my RS drivers side?

Happens at every track day. AC on usually, but not always. Not wet days either. Seems to be getting worse. Drivers side only.

Pop your frunk. The washer tank is on the driver's side. It sloshes and leaks.

The windshield washer fluid also does the headlights. If your front bumper has been removed the washer fluid connector may have not been put on tightly or missing or bad O ring. Remove the left front wheel and fender liner and inspect the line and connector.

Also check the flexible pipe from the washer reservoir to the nozzles under the lid. It routes through the hinge and can break. Photo is GT3 but believe RS is the same.

I have had the same thing in my RS. Same spot, same drop. I will check the windshield wiper tank.

992 Generation of GT3 RS will have option WT-107, must be ordered in conjunction with WPackage. US$1800.00 for carbon fiber no drool washer fluid tank. Aluminum tank cover just like fuel cover.
I am draining the washer tank very soon. Will prob need a PWISS to turn off any warning. Or fill tank with jello.

Some of this has to do with the tank being over filled or close to the top. The heat from driving it on the track causes the fluid to expand in the plastic tank and it flows out. Best solution is to remove some of the washer fluid to about half full. This will help to keep the tank from pressurizing from the heat.
