Thoughts from an old guy lol
So, I sold my GT3 yesterday (no story really, just ready for something else) and your predicament plus my response earlier about loving my mp4-12c got me doing a due diligence deep dive into the 570S. I’m very impressed with what I am reading and seeing about it. But, let me say this, my days of fly yellow ferraris is in the past and the thing that intrigues me about the 570 is that in the right color it can be very understated and folks are raving about how comfortable it is to drive. At 55 I’m thinking this might be just the ticket :-). Wife still has her 991 GTS anyway so that could be a nice drivable pairing.

If I added a second to my lap times for every year I'm older than you they wouldn't even let me drive novice! I am interested in this thread because I would like to own at least one modern Ferrari but I've still got the track bug and wife wants big expensive RV first.

570s owner and 765LT owner. Here they are side by side. The 570s is one of the most underrated supercars ever made hands down. It will absolutely wax any Huracan, Aventador, 458, 488, GT3, GT3rs, you name it. Owned my 570s since new, and 21,000 VERY HARD miles later from track days to road trips to driving around town, thing is still driving like it was brand new. Probably have launched the car 150+ times as well, no issues with reliability or anything. Mclaren in terms of speed in a straight line or on a track is in a different galaxy compared to other brands at the moment. The 570s is the "baby" Mclaren, and in mine which is stock, I have recorded 0-60 times of 2.8 seconds, and quarter mile at 10.1 seconds. I have the track pack version and it straight up hauls butt around a track as well. Ill put a link to a cool video about the 570s track pack. Now my 765LT.... I won't even begin to talk about that car haha. Long story short, it will go down as one of the best cars ever made hands down, no questions asked. But a 570s is still in my opinion one of the best value for money supercars ever made.
