.2 RS rear subframe and alignment problem
Hi all, trouble with my car pulling to one side, they put her on the alignment rack and couldn't align, the tech says its because the rear subframe is shifted, seen commonly in tracked cars, (I dont track) and that the solution is to shift the subframe back into position, then the rear will align properly. anyone else have this problem? os this the best solution. I was told the rear subframe does this to protect the car from bending and it makes sense, but Im not an engineer, I don't really care for an aftermarket solution, Im hoping this solves the problem, thoughts?

do you track often or was this from street driving? have you had to adjust more than once?

I noticed the problem while my first drive on highway it felt weird i knew there is something wrong and start digging.
When we lift the car it was obvious, best way to understand is to check the rear wheel steering it sits very close to chassis you can measure the distance between them and cross check the each side.
As i said it’s very easy fix loosen the 4 bolts on the lift and subframe snap backs to ideal place and don’t forget to torque the bolts to recommend specs.
After adjusted i did several hard sessions didn’t have any problem.

it is not common
but it is easy to fix
I am not sure why your tech even brings it up
it's like serving soup noodle without spoon, just bring me the spoon, there should be no conversation ended. you need a real tech
many shops work on GT cars very few knows what they are doing

Post your full alignment including all secondary angles - if you can't get a car into alignment its usually been hit or hit something. If you post your full alignment with secondary angles its very easy to diagnose whats wrong. The Porsche techs don't know **** from clay.
