GT3_DPW

I have just bought a 991.2 GT3 in the UK. The oil pressure on starting the car from cold is very high and into the red on the digital oil pressure gauge. This is only running the car at 2,500 rpm. When the engine is warm the oil pressure is getting to the same high pressures when running over 5,000 rpm. Is this normal for a GT3 or does my car have a problem?

New to this forum, so any advice greatly appreciated.

I had same concern with mine. Completely normal.

odd. my touring never pumps above the standard ~4.5 bar at speed.

The new motor on my 991.1 GT3 does the same thing, and has since it was installed. I'm not concerned.

Many thanks for your responses and the link to the 2017 thread. Has put my mind at rest. So I can now go and enjoy the high rev range without worrying.
