Default Looking for Agate Gray GT3

991.1
< $140k
Agate Gray

After spending much time looking for a 997 GT3 I've decided to broaden the search.

I am not a stickler for options but I am pretty dead set on Agate Gray at the moment.
I'd like to pick one up in the next few weeks, but if the search goes on too long I will open it up to white and black.

Not looking for a garage queen necessarily. Open to higher miles if the condition of the car reflects its been taken care of.

Have had considerable seat time in the 991.1 GT3 and its such a lovely machine and would be happy to put a ton of miles on one.

Located in SoCal, willing to travel for the right car.

Always said that 140 was my “everybody has a price” mark, but my wife would punch me square in the face if I even entertained it.

It’s an awesome color but not some rare PTS color, they’re out there. Don’t settle.

What’s up with this thing? Doesn’t even appear to be priced in a reasonable orbit.

I had an agate gray .2 and this is one of favorite colors for the GT3 - very disappointed I couldn't get this on the RS. Good luck in your search!

I saw that one and pretty much any others listed online in the last few weeks. Must be some sort of West Palm pricing.
Even my limit of 140 seems on the high side but it does sometimes work to get the ball rolling to show I am looking for something reasonable and not only looking for a 'deal'.
My last 9 cars have been white, and I love it but everything Ive had I always think to myself that I would like gray just a little more.

Ive seen a PTS RS in Agate and it was very nice. Subtle for that car.
Thank you!

140 is a solid number when it comes to colors that are more plentiful....when it comes to the more "rare" colors pricing is gonna be more aggressive, especially with the market how it is now....GL with the search

Definitely. Fortunately for me I am not one of the people in the market for the up-charge on a PTS car.

That being said, the above lead @awew911 sent me is turning out to be the perfect car.
I will keep this thread updated!

Best of luck as well, hopefully you can join the Agate family! It wasn't my first choice but I've been very happy with it. It's almost like 2 colors, in the sun it has a slight brown tint to it, but in the shade the grey really comes out. Doesn't hurt to blend in and not stand out when...ahem...driving.

Not agate grey and not < $140k, but another subtle but somewhat unique standard color and price is decent given how high a spec it is and includes CPO.
