Does this suggest we can get a factory fresh 997 GT3 built? That's got to cost a fortune...

I don't see why not. The article mentions a brand new factory fresh 993 Turbo built one-off in 2018. Since it's painted in gold, it probably literally cost it's weight in gold, and likely headed to one of the oil rich countries.

It is great they are doing it. Hope they show off some of the cool one off products coming out of the oven as Ferrari does. But kind of thing that if you have to ask how much, not for you…

If I remember correctly . . . .that gold 993 went for huge money.

The 997 4.0 GT3 RS go for $450K+ in the market these days (that is last years prices, have not looked recently) so I would venture to guess Porsche would want seven figures to build a reconditioned one a "new".

I'm sure they could for triple the price of having an aftermarket shop install a GT3 drivetrain in a Carrera Targa.

Default I assume this is real. I got an email from them last night.

Same info as link, but they had all my personal info including the VIN of my 2019 T. I guess they got my info directly from Porsche.
I will submit claim sometime this week.

I received $738 for 2011 Cayenne S. Not sure what determines the amount but not looking a gift horse in the mouth. Not bad for 3 minutes of paperwork.
