Hello!

So - I know there's a thread all about battery tenders with 991 GT cars but the discussion is really only centered around the 2018 models. I'm curious if anyone has found the right way to use a battery tender on their 2019? Apparently, the cigarette lighter plug method doesn't work anymore starting that year?
I've got a leftover lambo-branded CTEK charger that I'm hoping to use but I've got no clue about if it's the right one for the battery in the 2019...?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cig lighter port works on my 2019. Been on the tender since Nov with no issues.

Cigarette outlet works fine on my ‘19 GT3 and also worked on the ‘19 RS I had. I use a Ctek MXS 5.0 which has a AGM mode.

I believe i read that the key to keeping the accessory port working is to lock the door so the car goes into sleep mode. I'd make sure that Lambo charger has an AGM mode.

Battery tender now makes an OB2 plug.

i use to leave a window cracked for cord t run thru, now i run it thru the very front of door on the sill. Even after door is shut, it still slides freely. If you do this, door needs to be mostly closed as that creates the largest gap for cord t run thru.

I just hard wired my CTECH to the battery. It takes 10 minutes.
