Default Roadtrip in Corsica

Our Corsican roadtrip consists of touring the island on departure and return from Bastia.

It all starts with the boat where we were stuck between several vehicles.

Day 1 consists of heading towards Cap Corse and therefore the North, from Bastia to "L'île Rousse"

As soon as you leave Bastia, the magic happens and we uncap the speedster for 4 consecutive days.

We head straight for Ersa, the northernmost point of the island if I disregard a few islets.

After crossing a pass whose name I have forgotten and then taking a small road, we come to Ersa.

No one except the local specialties with a full-bodied character!

We don't linger and we head for Centuri.

As in Ersa, life seems to have evaporated from Centuri.
Centuri is actually made up of a port and the old village.

It is both a traditional village, a fishing port and a small seaside resort!

not an open restaurant, not a cafe because of the health restrictions imposed by the government due to the Covid-19
It’s sad despite the bright sun and the mild weather.

From Ersa, we are now heading south and on the west coast of the island.

After Centuri, we go to a village that I like very much, Nonza.

The speedster strikes a pose!
A moment of grace and there will be many.

Nonza is a hilltop village famous for its black beach and inscriptions.

On the road, in Corsica, you can find everything, goats, cows, wild pigs, and too many stones! I will come back to that.

So you have to be vigilant at all times and it is sometimes painful because it is also so enchanting.
