Default Looking for 991.1 RS w/o LWB, sub 10k miles

The continuous debate of going back and forth on a 997 GT3 RS or a newer 991.1 GT3 RS is killing me, so Im going to throw this out there and see what surfaces.

I am looking for a sub-10k mile RS without the LWB seats (this is going to be a weekend car, not a track day car for my purposes). Colors preferred are more towards the neutral colors, but not bias there. The less modifications the better, and no major option needs aside of must have radio/AC and the seats as already stated. I do see whats available on the open market (ie cars.com, car gurus, autotrader, Porsche dealers, etc), so more or less interested if someone is looking for a private sale or something that might be incoming that isnt listed already.

I see a lot of happy folks with these cars, and very much looking forward to getting into something in the next month or two. And if I cant find anything, will take that as a sign to get a vintage 997 GT3 RS (its amusing to reference them as vintage...).

As a long time Porsche owner I want to chime in. I personally think the 991RS is the greatest value of any Porsche GT cars. I recently sold mine(after 30k glorious miles) and got a 992TTS.

I am loving the 992TTS but would be lying if I said I didn't miss the 991RS alot.

^ I smiled when I saw that you out 30k miles on an RS - that had to be enjoyable.

I am 54 and I lost count of how many P cars I have owned. You will also enjoy this. While I had the 991RS I also had(and still do) have an Audi R8 V10 plus.

I put 3k miles miles on the R8.

This. I went the other way from a Turbo to 991.2 RS and it has over delivered in every way. 8k miles in 3 months. Daily.

Smart move...we will see how long the TTS lasts. I took it to the track Sunday(Willow Springs) and while its not an RS...it held its own.

It often seems overstated and or over hyped when coming from current RS owners. Nevertheless, have to agree with above. Of all the cars I have been lucky to own, the RS is the one that impacts me most in a positive way. For clarification I'm not claiming this because it is a .1RS, rather it is more a testament to how Porsche has mastered the engineering behind the GT variants. One way this works for me can be described like this...instead of the continuous search for HP and speed, the RS challenges you to be a better driver knowing you have to learn to adapt to even come near what it can deliver. This coupled with the sweet noise is just a complete package.

I might potentially consider this, but understand that there can be some programming issues as well associated if someone can enlighten on that?

I have read they just need to be programmed in by the dealer.
