I bought a 3yr 36k mile warranty from fidelity for like $2400.00, so mine is covered until 2023. That being said it has been flawless since taking ownership.

This white one with 5k miles just popped up. PCCB, FAL, leather, LED’s, GMG exhaust, and one year left on the warranty. Asking price is $165k. Seemingly a great buy on this car and probably won’t last too long.

Still, the elephant in the room for some is the .1RS engine. That is what kept me from buying one. Again, a personal thing.

Generally, the engine failures have been more of a problem for early E series equipped GT3’s which are 2014 model year cars. They revised it in 2015 with a F series power plant and again in 2016 with the G series. 2016 GT3’s generally carry a premium over 2014-2015 GT3’s as they are more reliable and a lot less of them have had engine replacements. .1 RS and 911R have the G series power plant and engine failures are not very common with G series engines. Besides the finger follower wear, the .1 RS is very reliable IMO.

The buy rate on FAL is around 90% on GT cars. It’s cheap to replace, but for me I would rip it off on every exit out of my drive way.

Same. My GT3 is the first car in 15+ years I've had that doesn't scrape up the bumper on every entry/exit. With the FAL active, I get a 3-wheel entry (carrying the front left in the air until the pivot points gets to where the rear right lifts) until all four tires are on the incline.

I'm sure I cannot be the only one.. Drive way, apron to some weird entrance, getting on the trailer, etc.
While some options are highly desired or nice to have, the FAL is an absolute must for some of us. Something to be mindful of if you pick up a non-FAL car that it could work against you on the back end.

I know a definite personal taste and probably a silly question but color - what's thoughts on white on an GT3? I've never owned a white car. Just curious what people thought when choosing color.

White tends to be my default color on Porsche GT cars. Whatever GT car, IMO white tends to look great on it. .1 RS also looks awesome in white IMO, but I’m probably biased.
