Default PPF recommendations in Bay Area?

Asking for a friend picking up a new GT car in the Bay area then driving home several hundred miles. Any recommendations for PPF would be appreciated.

Thank you!

I got my tint and Xpel done at Mr. Tint in San Jose. Pretty nice people. Price wasn't bad.

Premier in fremont is the best... No real comparison.

Premier is great but also had great experience with Protective Film Solutions. They are both in socal and norcal. Norcal location is now in san carlos (previously fremont)

I would speak with Joe at OCDetailing www.bayareadetails.com They have a lot of Porsche experience and perform really high quality installations.

Definitely suggest Protective Film Solutions in San Carlos. Albert will take the best care if you and your car.

100% Albert at PFS (Protective Film Solutions), now in Redwood City. He wrapped my entire GT3. What’s important for you to know is that the film can be wrapped around edges so you don’t see seams. Places like premiere will just use precut and you’ll see the edges around the panels. I also had them ceramic coat after and the price for all of that was pretty similar to what would have been charged elsewhere for just the wrap. Overall very happy with the job PFS did compared to my friends who had wraps done elsewhere and that had shoddy work that inflames my OCD, especially when you’re spending this much $$$.

That isn't even slightly true, do u know premier protective film? Everything they do is top end, this where almost everyone takes their hypercars and everything is custom no precut / template.

Possible I’m confusing it with a different company. That said either their Instagram game is weak or definitely *not* “almost everyone takes their hypercars” there🤷‍♂️

Yes, you must be confusing us with another company. We have been installing ppf longer than most (since 1997) and a sponsor on rennlist since 2005. All of our installations are 100% custom - no precuts ever touch any of our clients' vehicles. Additionally, we carry the most premium film on the market - ClearGuard Alpha.

Here is a video of what our GT3 custom installation would look like:

Here is a video of what ClearGuard Alpha PPF (made by Prestige Film Technologies www.prestige-films.com) is like compared to the likes of the various brands of films on the market

Premier is very good, imo. Also won't be cheap. They are not the be all end all of ppf, however. All these places make you feel like they are the only ones that can take care of your baby, but, c'mon, PPF is like tires... replace every 5 years, its really a consumable.

LOL what’s your point exactly? Two good shops evidently. I stand behind my review. Good for you and your opinion.
