So I let the battery get low in my 19 3RS. I hooked up to my CTEK and charged up and it starts and runs fine but I am now getting a CEL and the "engine control module:" fault. Says it's ok and can keep driving but to visit workshop. Will this eventually go away on it's own or does it need to be cleared via scanner. Are there any cheapo scanners that will clear it without the hour drive to dealer?

Bought an icarsoft POR v2.0 to reset service reminders. I believe it also clears codes. You can get it for about $150 through Amazon or eBay.

I think any OBD2 will clear it, it should also clear after three drive cycles on its own.
