I like the WP in the 2RS but not the 3RS. Don't care for the full hood and roof exposed carbon fiber on the 3RS. Very nicely done on the 2RS. Too bad they didn't do them both the same.

Totally agree with this...I just can't stand the look of a full black hood...on the 2RS it looks very cool and different not like a ricer

Roughly 75 % of USA cars are WP. WP cars seem to be taking bigger discounts apples to apples on resale. If so WP is actually not good for resale and not more " rare."
If you are going to track the car a decent amount a non WP car with iron brakes is the ticket.Retail is around sticker maybe a bit higher if under 1000 miles.

Hope you have a painted hood vs. exposed carbon. Haha.
How about a pic of the Miami in question?

Also, the WP Miami Blue is also pre owned certified which is a nice extra 2 year warranty.

If options are the same except for WP the you should be paying $10-$15K less right now for non WP cars. Get the MB WP, or talk them down to sub $200K on the Chalk if that's the color you want.

Opinions are going to be split by the WP owners and those without. I have it and I love it. Wouldn’t have it any other way. The RS is all about small changes over the GT3 leading to a product greater than the sum of its parts; I think that the WP adds to that formula as well. Fortunately all of the RS are brilliant cars and you cannot go wrong with either variant.

I didn't think the WP was worth the $18K especially without the roll bar and I also liked Guards red better without it. Its all personal though.

In North America, the Weissach package is largely a visual upgrade. They also sold more Weissach cars than non Weissach. Get it if you like it the look, but don't get conned into think it's a completely different driving experience or that it'll be some limited edition collector car.
Also, get the car that you like more. The Miami Blue is the better deal price wise, but that's a moot point if you don't like Miami Blue.

I had a car I specced without WP, and I honestly regretted it. I think if I could go back, would have gone with white, gold wheels, WP instead of green, gold wheels, no WP. I'm sure some people would think both specs were awful, but to each their own.
In the end, pick what you prefer. If you think you want WP, grab it. That was what I regretted, I sort of wanted it, but was unsure. 20k price tag made me pause.
Mistake in retrospect, but all good, learned from my mistake and know what to do when I am "unsure"...!

Happy with non-wp here honestly think the unpainted carbon front trunk makes it look too kit-car and somehow breaks its cohesiveness cosmetically...
Also have seen one case of a shattered CF antiroll bar here somewhere and I think it's a shrewd marketing exercise given the small difference in weight...
As it turns out non-wp are more rare than wp...
at some point you have to stop adding expensive options with minimal returns...
Of course none of this is rational and there may well be a placebo feel good effect or even a real measurable improvement.
Go with what will make you happier at a cost that you can justify without regret...
