Considering a CPO 2014 GT3
I am considering pulling the trigger on a CPO 2014 GT3 with 14K miles VIN: WP0AC2A96ES183372.
What should I be concerned with (if anything)? I obviously do not need an over rev report which reminds me that I really want a 2018 model, but I am itching to finally add one to the stable.
Will be nice to be able to rotate canyon runs between a GT3 and my GT4.
Would purchasing an extended warranty be in order? I recently read all the first gen models had their engines replaced?
Appreciate any insight, and thanks in advance!

Note, the replacement engine they would have received in 2014 isn't the final revision which remedied the finger follower issue that brought on the 10yr warranty.

That seems really high for a 2014. I know you weren't asking for pricing advice, but here's a car that is better spec'd, PCCB's and buckets with 4k miles for $135k. I would expect a 2014 with 14k miles to be under $120k.

Correct, I think due to the low volume, they are not able to provide an estimate. In general though, you don't want to use KBB for a car like a GT3, or a GTS. They're just not going to be accurate. Add in options like PCCB's and buckets that people are going to pay considerably more for, you're best off looking at what other dealers around the country are asking. But what they're asking seems very high. CPO is nice to have, on that car for the PDK, but the engine is covered for another 4 years, so that is less of a concern.

If it has pccb, ask for the rotor measurement. And lastly, ask if the motor ever been replaced. There should be a history on porsche’s database.

make sure it’s not a left over transfer CPO if you’re paying that much. I paid way less on my 2014 where CPO clock starts at delivery. Ask for the CPO inspection report too. I didn’t know mine came wired with a very expensive K40 radar and defuser and it was mentioned on the report. It should mention how much pads and tire measurement is left as well.

Tomorrow is the test drive as the rear spoiler is being re-painted for some reason, and I also pickup the GT4 after its service. Whole car is covered in PPF.
They raping me on a Boxster S trade that is seriously MINT! Need to check CARMAX trade-in values.
