I've been told Endless holds up longer than SRF. I'm flushing yearly.

Agree with you. All brake fluid is for most purposes incompressible,so if there is a pedal feel difference then there is air in the system.

SRF is popular for its high boiling temperature typically for track use. Pricey and sometimes hard to find.

I use RBF660 which has a very similar boiling point. I boiled ATE 200 ONCE, so moved to one of the premium brands.

If you are not tracking the car, the top tier brands are overkill IMO

Fluid is changed because it is hygroscopic (absorbs water) with two years being the common industry standard.

More and more shops are testing the moisture content as the reason for changing, not just age. You can buy a DIY tester from Amazon for $11.99.

I actually have seen mentions of varying compressibility on brake fluids. I don’t know whether these correlate to pedal feel (but I have felt that Endless tends to give a firmer pedal than some others- not sure if this is due to compressibility or something else)

I have questions for you guys using Endless RF-650. I had my dealer flush my system and fill it today.

My dealer said because it’s silicone based I should flush after each track day. Are you doing this?

My brake system (maybe the booster) squeaks with this new fluid. I mostly hear it a low speeds. Does yours?

Thanks in advance

My brake used to squeak with Castrol switch to Endless and it’s quiet.

No, it's not silicone based (see below). I think those are DOT5 fluids. Endless RF-650 lasts a long time. I change yearly in my GT3 and I once left it in for 6 years in my old Evo and it was just fine. I don't have any squeaks.

I went out for good rip in the car today. Brakes feel fine with the Endless fluid, just a funny squeak you can hear at low speeds when you pump your brakes. Weird!

Castrol SRF from FCP Euro. Bleed before every track event, flush annually. I have been thru 4-5 quarts in the past couple of years with the lifetime replacement from FCP Euro. Its the best.

Wait a minute, so you can first bought a couple quarts from FCP Euro and just keep sending the old fluid back and get new fluid for “lifetime replacement” ?

Ran SRF in my GT4 but after a Manthey service where they swapped the fluid (they use Endless 650) the pedal feel is definitely firmer/better than before. I didn't think the type of fluid would matter much but only using Endless now in the GT3.

No squeaks, super firm pedal. Stainless lines help too.

I had RBF600 and RBD660, put Castrol SRF on month ago, didn't feel any difference. Braking endurance is great on that car! Even comparing to my former racing cars!
