Is it possible to remove the paint and then clear coat the exposed cf to replicate the factory finish of exposed cf?

My friend did it on his Ferrari. Good paint shop can do it

I'm not sure what you'd want to do with the NACA brake cooling ducts (that have no plumbing to connect to). Might be an issue in the rain, unless you sealed them off.

Just in case anybody doesn't know, I was told the two hoods (factory painted CF and Weissach CF) have different levels/qualities of CF. Apparently, the Painted hood's CF, once exposed, will not look like the Weissach CF.

This is normal, primed CF for painting over has a different finish process vs "exposed" CF with UV clearcoat.
