Looks like all RSs look like- Stupid and gregarious with a big touch of "look at me" I am a race car driver.

Never been my cup of tea but I am sure for the track enthusiast it will take it to the next level

^ Fake body cladding disguising the real fender and hood. Looks like we're going to have a vented hood with some big openings. Not sure what the fake fender covers are hiding though.

Replace the wing with a bucket and a strategic repaint to John Deere green.

Wait, Porsche already built a tractor...

I stand firm, not sure I will own a 992 .............too many options at the price point and the 991 is that good success kills you. The good news there will be plenty of RS’s available when many hop over to the 992. Cars are moving past drivers capability, and I know my limit. Will sit and watch this one.

Getting big and heavy. Needing huge tires, huge wing, and huge aero/cooling openings. What will the driving experience be like at this point? Sigh.

It will (have to) be faster than the 991 otherwise nobody will want one. How will it do against the C8 ZR1s it will be sure to meet at the local track in the not too distant future?

Looks like we're going to get some really good aero, it will be interesting to see where they go with tires. The rear diffuser looks interesting too.

Just by looking at the Aero package, the 992 could be capable of producing in excess of 1200 lbs of downforce, compared to nearly 1000 lbs in the current car.

The 4.2 has very good chances of being the engine. Regular GT3 with the ITB and 4.0 from the 991.3 GT3RS & Speedster, and RS with the 4.2.

I hope they keep the 7-speed PDK, and don't go with the heavier 8-speed PDK.

Exciting news...

I hope that swan neck can be backwards compatible with 991s. I wish they went with the same ones in the RSR.

Only if you made similar adjustments in the front.

Otherwise, you'll end up doing wheelies at speed.

I understand designers feel bigger is better but why must the flagship car end up being so long and wide?

Interesting aside: Ferrari's new 8-speed dual clutch box is 6kg lighter than the outgoing 7-speed as well as running cooler and shifting faster. Maybe Porsche should ping Mr Linton for a carbon fiber transmission case...
